Franks 22 Birthday.

I think i am getting the hang of this... Maybe

Yesterday was Franks Birthday. We didn't do much because he had to work. But he had already gotten his present last week because it was a griddle and i was hungry... so i gave it to him early to get him to make me something. It worked. He made Burgers. and Getting the griddle put him in a cook at home mood because he made ribs too! in our oven that only works half the time so we ate dinner at eleven at night. haha. but it was worth it! They where AMAZING!

So we had ice cream cake yesterday but i forgot to make him blow out candles! When i remembered i was getting ready for bed so i went and got a Cinnamon roll out of the doughnut box and put the last two candle on it and made him blow it out. and we are going to see District nine tonight as the real celebration.

DEVONS BIRTHDAY!

Well today was Devons eighth birthday!Frank had duty this weekend so he was not able to come with me to palestine to celebrate. But cathrine grandma and Chris and Rainies family did get to come!

I Went to pick Cathrine up from the airport and agter getting lost for an hour i discovered i was at the wrong airport! so i had to hall across houston and finally picked her up! then we had a three hour drive ahead of us. It was a long night. We finally got in at two in the morning crashed out and made it to church on time!

Devon was baptized after church by my dad and then comfirmed by dad. Brandon and Chris where the witnesses. It was nice to get to share that with everyone!

then we came home and had dinner and cake. While we where all sitting aorund chatting brandons Friend austin was trying to see if he could crack an egg in his hand. it worked. And shot all over rainie! she got covered in egg. We all laughed while trying to clean her off! Sorry Rainie!

All in all it was a very good day. We missed scott being there but he did somehow show up in a few pics.... haha.

COAST GUARD DAY!

July 31.2009 was national Coast Guard day. which ment we had to spend the day at the park and hang out with all the other coasties and there families. there was football and fishing and a BBQ and to franks pleasure a hotdog eating contest. He took second... and spent the rest of the night sick. haha. it actually turned out to be a better day then i thought it would be!

Vaca to palestine

Well since everyone else got to go to the reunion Frank and I decided to go stay at mom and dads house while they where away! We got to spend time with friends and hang out. It was a lot of fun! We miss spending time with all of them! here are a few pics.

Fourth of July 2009

FOURTH OF JULY!!! Well this weekend just showed that no matter how much you plan it doesn't always go how you want! The plan was for my family to come up to Houston and get a hotel so we could go up on Friday to go shopping and all that then saturday night go see the fireworks. well... Wednesday mom called and dad was in the hospital with a kidney stone-story of his life- so we would have to see how he is feeling thursday to decided if they where still coming up. friday morning they left for Houston and got about twenty miles and had to turn around cuz dad couldn't do it. So they went home for him to recover. so now we were plan-less. Frank decided to go to a BBQ at his bosses house. so i attempted to make Rices crispy treats but they didn't turn out so great so frank had to make a new batch and a batch of cookies. The BBQ was pretty fun. There was new born babies there so i go to play with them! Then we went out to the beach after dark to light off fireworks of our own. It was a lot of fun even if Frank did try to light my hair on fire! haha. I hope everyones fourth was fun! and Thank you to all our Men and Women fighting for us!!!!

Fathers Day 2009

The

Family came up to our house for fathers day! It was a lot of fun. they got in late friday, mom and dad Dropped Brandon and Devon at out house so they could stay with us then mom and dad went to a hotel. It was really good to see them! Saturday we went to the beach, well mom devon and i did. Frank had to work and dad and brandon didn't want to go. After that we went home and got ready for dinner.

Frank made a nice lunch for dad on sunday. We had Brazilian salmon and a cake. Devon, who had spent the night again with me sat night, got really sick and i was up taking care of his throw up all night. Yay.... I had been sick that whole week so i think maybe he caught it. poor boy. anyway after lunch they headed home. Here are some pics from the weekend!
